Lara Logan

 Lara Logan, born 29 March 1971, is a South African radio and television journalist and war correspondent. She worked as a CBS News journalist from 2002 until 2018.60 Minutes executive Producer Jeff Fager called her factually incorrect and politically biased report regarding the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack "the most erroneous mistake I made on my 10-year-old television." She was a part of the Sinclair Broadcast Group in 2019, a conservative media firm. The company was acquired by Fox Nation, a subscription streaming service owned by Fox News, in January 2020. She informed Fox News in March 2022 that they had been "dumped". Logan was a news reporter for the Sunday Tribune in Durban, during her studies (1988-1989) as well as at the Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992, she became an executive producer at Reuters Television Africa. After four years of working for Reuters Television in Africa she began freelance journalism. She was employed as a reporter/editor/producer at Fox/SKY, Fox/SKY (in London), CBS News, ABC News, NBC News and the European Broadcasting Union. Reporting on major events, such as the 1998 bombings of the United States Embassy in Nairobi and Tanzania and the ongoing conflicts in Northern Ireland and the Kosovo conflict, she worked for CNN.
