Maria Elena Bello

 Maria Elena Bello (born April 18 1967) is an American actress as well as a producer and writer. Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999) Coyote Ugly(2000), The Cooler(2003), A History of Violence(2005), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor2008, Grown Ups2010, Prisoners2013, and Lights Out (2016) are some of her film roles. In the television world, Bello appeared as Dr. Anna Del Amico on the medical drama ER (1997-1998) as well as various other roles as a star, including Lucy Robbins on the series Touch in 2013. She also starred as Michelle McBride on the first season of the TV series Goliath in 2016 and from 2017 to 2021 as Special Agent Jacqueline "Jack" Sloane on the NCIS series. NCIS. Bello was the daughter of Kathy Bello (a teacher and school nurse) and Joe Bello (a contractor). Bello was born in Norristown on the 18th of April 1967. She studied political sciences at Villanova University. Bello continued her acting training by participating in numerous New York theatre productions. Bello has her son Jackson with her former boyfriend Dan McDermott. She wrote in November 2013 about her identical-sex relationship, Clare Munn, and how it ended. She released a book titled Whatever...Love Is Loving: Examining the labels we give to Ourselves (Dey Street Books, April 28 2015.).
